Meet The GlobalMedia Management Team

Joel E. Barthelemy, Managing Director
Mr. Barthelemy, founder and Managing Director of GlobalMedia LLC, is dedicated to improving the quality of worldwide healthcare by developing innovative tools and technology that set the standard for excellence in telemedicine and life sciences. He has over 20 years in the high-tech industry and more than 10 years of experience in the visual communications, imaging and telemedicine industries.
Mr. Barthelemy founded his first company, Learning Performance Corporation, an educational technology company, in Minnesota in 1989. He relocated to Arizona in the early 90’s and formed PAR Technologies, Inc., a successful semiconductor sales, services and manufacturing company and PAR Development, LLC., a commercial real-estate holding company. He founded GlobalMedia in 2002 and continues to design, develop and deliver proven solutions to highly respected institutions including; Stanford, Harvard, and Columbia Schools of Medicine, Barrow Neurological Institute, HCA Healthcare and many others. GlobalMedia has also provided tens of thousands of cameras and audio devices to the world’s leading global conferencing companies.
Today, Mr. Barthelemy participates as a Board Member of the Greater Arizona E-Learning Association, is a Board Advisor to VidSoft, Inc. and formerly was a member of the Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill Industry board of directors. Mr. Barthelemy attended both St. Cloud State and the University of Minnesota and received an honorable discharge as a non-commissioned officer from the United States Marine Corp in 1987. Mr. Barthelemy resides in Scottsdale Arizona with his wife and three children.

Michael Harris, Development Director
Michael D. Harris is the Director of Development for GlobalMedia Group, LLC, and has been a designer, developer and marketer of technology products for over 25 years.
Michael was also a founder of several companies including, iREZ Research, Corp., which designed and marketed patented mobile video products and Harris Laboratories, Inc., which designed and marketed memory and processor accelerators. He also held key leadership positions with VideoLabs, Inc.(VLAB), including Director of Digital Technologies and Marketing during its Initial Public Offering.
Michael completed the Electronics program at North Central Technical Institute in 1977. From 1977 – 1981, he studied Music and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin and Computer Sciences at the University of Minnesota- Minneapolis in 1986. Michael did post-graduate work in 1988, while attending and working at the Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende in Brugge Belgium, in Industrial Engineering Sciences. He has been involved directly in the design of several patent developments including, the “Camera Clip” (USP#5,855,343) and “Chroma Photon Staining” (USP Document 20070016081). During his time off, Michael is a Scout leader and has been an avid martial-artist for the past 33 years.

Bruce J. Adams, Operations Director
Bruce J. Adams, Operations Director for GlobalMedia Group, LLC., has over 18 years of experience in operations. Prior to GlobalMedia, Bruce had his own service company for seven years, where the culture was customers always came first, communicate and keep it simple. From 1989 to 2002, Bruce held positions of Operations Manager, General Manager, and Vice President in areas of aerosol paint, plastics recycling, and specialty food manufacturing, all of which were global and multi million dollar companies. Bruce has eight years experience managing the Intellegical Property of an international company which had over 100 patents in the U.S., and all over the world.
Today, Bruce is directing the operations of GlobalMedia with three principals in mind - simplicity, collaboration and accountability. Bruce believes in "doing more with less" and finding better ways to operate through systems. Sticking to these principles and focusing our resources will make us a stronger, more profitable company. Bruce earned his bachelor's of science degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. He also has a master's certification as a paralegal, from Roosevelt University, in Chicago, IL. |
