GlobalMedia to have strong presence at 2009 American Telemedicine Association Convention April 26-28 in Las Vegas

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Feb. 28, 2009) — The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) today announced that GlobalMedia founder and Managing Director Joel E. Barthelemy has been selected to participate in a panel discussion as part of the Executive Roundtable Track at the 14th Annual ATA Annual Meeting and Exposition April 27 in Las Vegas.

The discussion will focus on the results of a recent survey conducted by the ATA and the Business and Finance SIG and Industry Council to identify and document return on investment data for telemedicine. The study will be used in developing model business cases for integrating telemedicine services within clinical settings. 

Barthelemy has dedicated much of his career to improving the quality of worldwide healthcare by developing innovative tools and technology that set the standard for excellence in telemedicine and life sciences.
