Q: My software worked fine for 10 days, but now it will not open.
A: Unless you purchased an CapSure license the software only works for ten days starting from the time you install the application on your computer.
Q: Can I use my CapSure installation license on multiple computers?
A: No, the license is designed to work with only one computer. You would have to purchase an additional license in order in install CapSure on another computer.
Q: Will CapSure only work with iREZ cameras?
A: CapSure will only work with iREZ cameras. GlobalMedia builds iREZ cameras that mount to microscopes and macroscopes.
Q: What type of microscope do I need to use your software?
A: A variety of different microscopes will work. We can customize parts to attach our camera to your microscope with a trinocular head.
Q: Does the software read barcodes?
A: Yes, CapSure has the ability to read barcodes. This is a feature that is available when the software is purchased.
Q: How do I install the software?
A: The CapSure software is easy to install. When you purchase the software you will either be provided with a link allowing you to download a copy, or you will be mailed an installation CD. The software needs to be activated. Contact a GlobalMedia customer service representative to find out more about purchasing the software.
Q: Do I get continuous upgrades with the CapSure pathology imaging software?
A: Upgrades of the version you purchased are available at no charge. When you want to upgrade to a new version that includes new features and tools, there is an upgrade fee.
Q: Do I have to have an internet connection to use this software?
A: The software can function without an internet connection,
however video communication and the live viewing of images
does require a connection.
Q: Is there support for Windows 2000?
A: No
Q: Is there support for Windows Vista?
A: At this time there are no drivers/support for Windows Vista.
Q: Is there support for Mac OS X?
A: At this time there are no drivers/support for Mac OS X.
