Q: Installation process for the K2r running on Vista 32.
A:
- There is no specified driver for Vista, nor will there be, but the K2r will work using the XP driver and slightly altering the installation process.
- The camera will only work in Vista 32-bit environment (emulation mode).
- Insert CD driver or download driver from the web and run.
- When installation finishes, connect the K2r camera.
- Video driver will install automatically, but a "New Hardware Wizard" will appear attempting to install USB Audio.
- Click "Locate and install driver software (recommended)".
- The USB Audio installation will fail but you can ignore it because the K2r does not have audio anyways.
- The K2r should now work.
